Tender description
Cork County Council owns two food manufacturing incubation kitchens in Kilnagleary, Carrigaline, Co. Cork which have been managed by an external Contractor for the past seven years. The fully equipped incubation kitchens provide shared manufacturing facilities to food companies on a short term rental basis (hourly / part day / full day). The kitchens comprise of 2 No. 1,200 sq. ft. units with a range of commercial food manufacturing equipment to enable food businesses manufacture various food products on a commercial basis. Cork County Council wish to appoint a Service Provider with full responsibility for operation and management of the facility to provide a quality service to client companies on specified terms and in accordance with best practice in food safety and health and safety. The successful Service Provider will be paid a fixed monthly payment for providing the service for the duration of the contract.
