Highways Term Service Contract

Tender description

Milton Keynes City Council (MKCC) are seeking a single provider to undertake the delivery of its Highways, Street Lighting and Structure revenue works, approved capital programme and further capital works funded by S106/ tariff funding/ government grants/ other Council funding. This work is currently carried out within an existing Highways Terms Service Contract which started in 2014 and will end on 31st March 2024. In advance of the formal procurement process commencing in early 2023, the Council wishes to engage with experienced Contractors and officially launch the start of the process, to learn from industry feedback and share the Council's Vision, aims and wider strategies influencing the new contract. The Highways service would like to invite you to attend an industry event at our Council offices. This event will be led by Milton Keynes City Council officers and will explain the strategy and drivers for the future provision of its Highway Contract, provide an update on the planned procurement timelines, and highlight the innovation, growth and investment that is taking place in Milton Keynes. Milton Keynes City Council will also be holding one to one meetings with Contractors for further informal discussions. This is not part of the formal Procurement process, and no commitment from MKCC or respondents is implied or given.
