Tender description

This request to quote is to design, produce and deliver a Senior Leadership Programme for Maynooth University (MU). MU is committed to encourage our people to grow in their current role, to support their career progression and to develop key competencies required to deliver on the Maynooth University Strategic Plan. Currently within the University there are a number of new development initiatives in place to support employees on their career journey. These range from programmes on developing specific competencies to coaching. There are also a number of internally facilitated information seminars on operational topics for those new to the role of Head, Deputy Head of Department and for Senior Administrators. A gap does exist in the provision of a structured end to end leadership programme for senior academics, researchers, administrators and professionals, in leadership roles and those working towards senior leadership roles. The introduction of such a programme would directly support the implementation of the Maynooth University Strategic Goal 9. People and Organization - Providing an environment where all staff can flourish, develop, advance and further contribute to the University, - Empowering support staff to develop as professionals and to adapt to the changing needs of the University, - Investing in leadership and management structures and development appropriate to meet the challenges facing a modern, medium-sized university. The rationale for the introduction of a structured leadership programme is to support current and future leaders in their role, build on the skills they already have and to ensure they continue to lead and direct the University in line with the Strategic Plan.
