Tender description

CPI have a requirement to procure a food grade laboratory homogeniser to ensure fulfilment of existing and future projects to produce food grade samples. This laboratory scale unit is required to run in a high care food area and be a scale-down device for pilot/demonstration homogenisation units of the same technology. CPI has an initial requirement for a benchtop unit for use in a R&D laboratory. The equipment will have a continuous mode of operation at high pressure for the disruption of biological cells or other bio-based feedstocks. The equipment will enable testing at small process volume scales but provide results which are comparable to those achieved with larger scale equipment based on hydraulic piston technology.
