KLP, now wish to seek tenders for appointment of the company’s Auditors, the appointment will be for five years, subject to renewal annually post the AGM to be held in October 2022.

Tender description

The following services will be required: • A senior point of contact is appointed who will act as the direct contact for KLP staff during the Audit and at all times during the year, should any queries arise. • The Company appointed must demonstrate a clear knowledge and experience of preparation of accounts for a similar organisation, meeting the needs of the various programmes and funders. • The Annual Audit which must be completed three months after the end of the financial year, that being the 31st December 2022. • Annual Accounts must be prepared in line with the Dept. of Public Expenditure and Reform circular 13/2014, or any subsequent circular which may override, amend, or supersede this one. • The Company appointed, must be prepared to work with KLP staff in addressing any inspection or external audit queries, from funders or their nominated inspecting body. • In the preparation of the Annual Audit the appointed auditor will be expected to: o Meet with the Financial Coordinator to discuss with the company on its operation to get a general understanding of the systems in KLP. o Provide the Financial Coordinator with a detailed list of documents required prior to the end of year so that these can be compiled in an audit file. o Aid and advice on the transition between the new system once selected and the current QB system, including the setting up of the Chart of Accounts, and any new procedures needed for the 2023 accounts. o To liaise with the Financial Administration Team on any issues or queries which may arise in relation to the preparation of the Annual Financial Statements (“Accounts”) o To insure, through means of an Annual Audit, that KLP is adhering to all financial, revenue, taxation and company legislation required of it. o On completion of the draft Annual Accounts to provide the Financial Co-ordinator with a detailed list of journals for input onto the QuickBooks Accounts system. o Present the draft Annual Accounts to the company’s Finance Sub
