GIS spatial analyst supporting Stage 2 of the LULUCF project developing the new integrated land use spatial data archive.

Tender description

The resource will be initially assigned as a GIS spatial analyst supporting Stage 2 of the LULUCF project developing the new integrated land use spatial data archive. This initial assignment will require the resource to have responsibility for; Defining Evidence Based Assessment Projects, Spatial Analysis & Modelling, Data Interoperability & Reporting, Communications, Documentation & Training. The role will focus on the development of spatial assessment methodologies to facilitate evidence based environmental assessments by business teams within the EPA, with initial deployment on the LULUCF Land Use archive project. The successful candidate will be required to be proactive in the implementation of their tasks and areas of responsibility. The role requires a person who is conscientious, self-motivated, a problem solver who is comfortable working on their own and with broader project teams when required. All tasks assigned through project work, and all areas of responsibility assigned for operational work must be carried out to the highest standard with utmost regard given to customer/stakeholder service and attention to detail.
