Electrical Periodic Inspection and Testing

Tender description

The works cover the cyclical IEE inspection and satisfactory certification of all of the Association’s domestic electrical installations including any electrical remedial works that may arise from the initial IEE inspection. Other electrical repairs may be agreed and carried out by the preferred contractor at a latter stage. It is anticipated the works will be carried out to approximately 928 domestic properties and 98 associated common areas in North and South Lanarkshire including Mossend, Bellshill, Motherwell, Uddingston, Carfin, Newarthill, New Stevenston and Holytown. This project will be procured through an initial assessment of SPD submissions following which a shortlisted selection of contractors will be invited to submit tenders. The shortlisted contractors will be requested to complete a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (Quality) and a tender (Price). The quality and Price assessments will be assessed on a quality:price ratio to establish the preferred bidder.
