*** THIS IS AN AWARD NOTICE, NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION *** This procurement is being concluded following a competitive procurement exercise. Brief Description of Requirement Requirement Innovate UK as part of UKRI is seeking a supplier to provide pre grant award due diligence reviews on a group of potential overseas grant recipients. There are twenty companies in the group mainly in Africa / Asia. Grant values range from £10,000 to £400,000. The purpose of the reviews is to provide Innovate UK with assurance about the financial sustainability and probity of the overseas companies. Where possible the reviews should therefore cover - financial performance - company background and structure - background and reputation of directors and key individuals - media reports - other fraud/probity matters. Innovate UK recognises however that some of this info may not be in the public domain and may not therefore be reportable. The reviews will not cover the technical merits of the project or the reasonableness/eligibility of costs. Responsibility for making the award decision will remain with Innovate UK. Proposals should be brief and cover the following - Previous experience and skills in overseas due diligence - Methodology and sources of information to be used - Reporting style - Confirmation that the timetable below can be met - Price ( Innovate UK requires a standard price for an individual review)
