Benchmarking of Salary Data for Local Staff

The Department of Foreign Affairs (the “Department”) has general responsibility for all aspects of Ireland’s foreign relations and foreign policy. It maintains a network of over 100 diplomatic, consular and development co-operation Missions throughout the world (referred to in this Request for Tenders as “Missions”). Further information on the activities and functions of the Department are available at www.dfa.ie and at www.irishaid.gov.ie . The Department requires the provision of benchmark data on salaries for local staff employed in Irish Diplomatic Missions abroad. The information provided will relate solely to locally employed staff in these mission locations. It will complement the data we have gathered internally and knowledge accumulated by the various missions themselves to achieve competitive salary levels.
