The Vale of Glamorgan Council (“the Council”) requires the construction of the Barry Docks Transport Interchange scheme (“the Works”).In brief the works are to include:The works will involve site clearance, a new drainage system, earthworks, pavement construction, small retaining wall and footway and paved areas, various lit and unlit signage, new street lighting of the car park and main roundabout, together with landscaped areas and various street furniture. There will also be some work in relation to the existing and proposed statutory Undertaker’s plant within the site area.Please note due to the volume of documents, there are two notices Part 1 and Part 2. Bidders should note that the LTF/CCR funding in place for the scheme delivery relates only to the financial year 2022-23. Completion of any works programmed beyond that timeframe in tender submissions will be one of the factors considered as part of the tender assessment.
