Tender description
The objective of this Voluntary Ex Ante Transparency (VEAT) notice is to inform the market of Dublin City Council’s intention to enter into a contract with Stryker Medical in accordance with Article 32.2(b)(ii) of Directive 2014/24/EU (i.e. Competition is absent for technical reasons). • The value of the contract €68,436 The term of the contract is for 4 years Stryker have exclusivity relating to the supply of spare parts and the maintenance of medical equipment manufactured and distributed by the company in the UK and Ireland for the ranges of products of the Medical division specific to chest compression devices. • Stryker supply the spare parts used for preventive maintenance or repair of our equipment • Preventive and corrective maintenance services are carried out by Stryker engineers who are trained, authorized, and certified directly by the factories that manufacture the products. • Stryker’s certified employees can deliver training courses on the use of the product or associated maintenance. • Stryker can monitor and carry out updates of equipment whether it is a question of security measures or development of medical equipment safety measure or removal of medical equipment. This is a contract Award notice for the services.
