Tender description

The Scottish Government (SG), on behalf of the Scottish Ministers wishes to commission the provision of online Mandarin language training for one member of staff, for a period of two months. The Scottish Government (SG), on behalf of the Scottish Ministers wishes to commission the provision of online Mandarin language training for one member of staff, for a period of two months (from the 4 April 2022 for 8 weeks). Staff require pre-posting language training before starting jobs as Scottish Government representatives overseas. Hours - Full-time online language training - typically 3 hours lessons, 4 hours homework per day. Level – the language learner passed Operational Level Mandarin in 2013 and has previously lived in China. They would like refresher which focuses on speaking and listening. Considerations – the language learner is currently based India, so time zones must be taken into account when scheduling classes.
