Specification of Requirements for Annual Audit & Accountancy Services 1. Preparation of Statutory Financial Statements in compliance with the Companies Act 2014 DPER Circular 13/2014 (Government Accounting Unit) 2. Preparation and submission of the company’s Annual return to the Companies Registration Office 4. Maintenance of the company’s statutory records 5. Corporate taxation – preparation of adjusted profit computation, wear and tear computation, corporation tax computation, completion and submission of corporation tax return 6. Any additional work (not included above) associated with the external audit & accountancy services which may be required from time to time i.e. dealing with funding agency queries, Revenue, Charities Regulator, a rate per hour is requested for such work as outlined in the QRD. The external audit services will include, but will not be limited to: • Planning, management and execution of an annual external audit of Carlow Tourism in accordance with applicable Auditing and Accounting Standards; • Provide an audit opinion on Carlow Tourism financial statements; • Attendance at the Carlow Tourism Audit and Corporate Governance Committee meeting at which the Financial Statements are presented and to report on the Financial Statements at the company AGM; • Preparation and presentation of a Management Letter setting out any weaknesses or deficiencies in the accounting systems, inappropriate accounting practices, and regulatory or accounting compliance issues; • Provision of any other advice and opinions relating to the role as external auditor;
