Sefton Council are inviting Expressions of interest for a Provider to support a vulnerable 13 -year-old young person who is currently in an unregulated Placement – supported by a Support and Care Provider who are able to work within a legal Framework. Ofsted presently have oversight of this placement. Residential Placement must be registered with Ofsted and provide the Ofsted URN • Staff in placement to have the ability to manage behaviours such as aggression, missing from care and impulsivity. • YP likes activities and placement need to provide opportunities for activities. • Placement to provide access to education and support with attendance. • Male and female staff be available and to be positive role models. Staff to be able to manage behaviours and build positive relationships and promote YP’s confidence and build her self-esteem. • Requires 2:1 staffing at times of heightened behaviours. • Provide therapeutic input or support YP in accessing support. • Staff to understand ADHD and support her needs. • Support YP in accessing and attending CAMHS appointments. • YP requires staff who can help her feel contained in times of crisis. YP will seek out staff for hugs, staff need to be able to be emotionally available for the YP.</p> Keywords: Placement , Children
