Tender description
Purchase of Carbon Dioxide ( CO2 ) to use as a pH correcting chemical in the swimming pools at Guinea Gap & Leasowe Leisure Centres. Manufacturing, transportation and delivery costs have risen fourfold since March 2022 and an annual spend forecast is predicted at £20k for each site for financial yr 2022/23 . Previous £5k “call off” orders had be generated, but these have already been spent. The supplier, Air Products, are the only UK supplier of Industrial type bulk deliveries and should be classed as a sole supplier as no other competitive quotes are available.This is a perdition based on 2 x sites Guinea Gap AND Leasowe Rec on current usage and increased cost for product. These codes will be Guinea Gap L3180
