Interpreting & Communication Services for People who are D/deaf and Deafblind: Market Engagement

<p>Kent Deaf Interpreting Service (KDIS) sits within Kent County Council’s Sensory Services, providing a range of D/deaf and Deafblind Interpreting and communication services to officers from within Kent County Council and to other public sector contract partners in Kent. KDIS currently use a Framework of external providers to book Language Service Professionals (LSPs) on an on-demand basis, and the current contracting arrangements are due to expire in June 2023.</p> <p>This event is aimed at both current and potential service providers (freelance LSPs and agencies) who would like to find out about plans for the procurement of a new Framework which will commence in June 2023. The session will held on the 6th October 2022 10-11am. A BSL interpreter will be provided for this session.</p> <p>Please email communitywellbeing@kent.gov.uk if you would like to attend, and an MS Teams invitation will be sent to you.</p> <p>Please note that attendance/ non-attendance at this event does not affect the ability of any provider to take part in any future procurement process.
