<p>The London Borough of Hounslow&nbsp; is looking for a consultant to bring relevant stakeholders together to form a comprehensive partnership, which can promote Feltham as a destination and support the partnership through a series of events, activities, and meetings until 21 April 2023 (after Easter).</p> <p>The successful consultant must produce a strong exit strategy to allow the group to function without the additional support function (although with the general support of the Council) after the end of this contract.</p> <p>Feltham has always struggled with its identity, and the town’s association with the Feltham Young Offenders Institution. A <strong>vision for Feltham</strong> states, “Feltham will flourish from a functional and convenient town into a beautiful and more aspirational destination that celebrates its history. This green and accessible centre will be enhanced with more varied shops, community and leisure facilities. Drawing out the personality and identity of the town through its past famous residents, music culture, heritage assets such as Hanworth House and investing in its green assets will help create a town local resident can be proud of</p> <p>The main challenge for Feltham is connecting different destinations into an attractive and welcoming offer for visitors, residents and workers, enabling them to circulate through, dwell and visit multiple venues, maximising the benefits shared through marketing and publicity.&nbsp; A strengthened partnership is needed to bring together Feltham’s destinations/ attractions and create new interventions which connect people, places and spaces.
