Consultants to provide Technical Advisor support for the MeyGen Investment

Tender description

The objective of the tender is to identify a party which has the technical understanding of the tidal stream sector, combined with sufficient experience and knowledge about the tidal stream sector, the MeyGen project and the specific technology utilized, to provide technical advice services which will cover the aspects of work as per the specification. Crown Estate Scotland is seeking to appoint Consultants to undertake the work specified for a period of three years from 26 November 2022 unless terminated earlier in accordance with the terms of the Agreement. Funders Technical Advisor input during Operational Phase Annual Operating Budget: Will be provided by MeyGen to the funders each year. The review will cover the underlying technical and operational assumptions for the ongoing budget and revenue. Report on this work must be provided within 2 weeks of receipt of the Budget. The report needs to confirm if there is likely to be any adverse effect. Meetings: Coordinate and chair monthly and longer quarterly meetings with MeyGen and the funders. Prior to the meeting the update reports should be reviewed so appropriate input can be provided at the meeting. Meetings online generally but quarterly meetings in person in Edinburgh sporadically. Adhoc advice: General support and advice on issues that may arise as required. This will involve liaison with MeyGen directly on technical and financial information as well as meetings with Crown Estate Scotland and Scottish Enterprise.
