Project_32786 - Asbestos Survey and Consultancy Services This tender event is for the supply of asbestos consultancy services for use on a national basis. The framework will be available for any Network Rail (NR) function to use. The consultancy services are required for asbestos identification, air fibre monitoring (AFM) updating our Asbestos Risk Management System (ARMS) for all the NR managed infrastructure. The surveys will provide current information and include recommendations to action, ensuring a proactive approach to the asset maintenance as well as the provision of expert asbestos advice and support. The framework will also provide training services to keep NR staff up to date with asbestos competencies. This framework is not for Asbestos removals/Works. Please note framework suppliers must hold the below accreditations themselves before the contract will be awarded and must continue to hold all accreditations for the duration of the contract: 1. ISO17020 (Surveying) 4 essential chapters or industry equivalent. 2. ISO17025 (Testing) 3 essential chapters or industry equivalent. 3. Membership of United Kingdom Accreditation Service (https://www.ukas.com/) or industry equivalent. 4. Membership of UK Asbestos Training Association (https://www.ukata.org.uk/) or IATP (https://www.iatp.org.uk/) or industry equivalent. 5. RISQS Asbestos auditable code C.C.3.2.3.1: Asbestos Testing and Consultancy (Special Assessment)/Service or industry equivalent. Please note an NR3(MT) contract will not be issued until evidence of all accreditations have been provided in full.
