<p>Brent council are looking to tender two extra care schemes. Scheme one is brand new and owned by the council with 61 x 1 bedroom flats. This scheme will require setting up and mobilising from no service users to full occupancy. There will be no TUPE implications to this service or housing management responsibilities. The council are currently considering a core and flexi model for this scheme. This scheme is located in the Queensbury Ward The second is an existing extra care scheme with 32 service users in situ. There is a staff team in place and TUPE will apply. The scheme has a small cohort of learning disability service user’s as well as older adults with a range of support needs. This scheme is owned by a housing association who are responsible for all housing management. The council is currently considering a block contract for this scheme. This scheme is located in the Park Royal area.</p> <p>The event is going to take place Tuesday 13th September from 13:30 - 14:30 at Civic Centre.
