To establish a Multi-Supplier Framework Agreement for the Supply and Delivery of water/hydrological monitoring equipment and multi-parameter probes/sensors to Teagasc

This document constitutes an invitation to tender for the 4 Lots of equipment detailed below to Teagasc. Teagasc – the Agriculture and Food Development Authority – is the national body providing integrated research, advisory and training services to the agriculture and food industry and rural communities: The requirements are as follows: • Multi-Channel Probe and Meter Systems • Soil Moisture sensors • Water Table sensors • Flow Monitoring Equipment Lot 1: Supply and Delivery of Multi-Channel Probe and Meter Systems to Teagasc •Multi-Channel Probe and Meter Systems The probes will need to have capacity to measure dissolved oxygen, conductivity, ammonium, chloride and nitrate in-situ in open drains. Lot 2: Lot 2: The Supply and Delivery of Soil Moisture sensors to Teagasc. Soil Moisture sensors In-situ soil moisture measurements are required at depths of 10, 20, 50 and 100 cm with an accuracy of within 3% of readings. This can be achieved with either a single unit or multiple units at different depths. Lot 3: Lot 3: Supply and Delivery of Water Table Sensors to Teagasc Water Table sensors The system must consist of a sensor capable of measuring water table depth in shallow subsurface wells (2 m depth) at a resolution of within 1 cm and with an accuracy of within 3% of readings. Lot 4: Lot 4: Supply and Delivery of Flow Monitoring Equipment to Teagasc Flow Monitoring Equipment The system must be capable of measuring water flow in open channels, typically 1-2 m wide with an accuracy of within 3% of readings
