Tender description
Kildare County Council, in conjunction with the DECC and WERLA have allocated special funding towards a Mattress Amnesty scheme for 2022, and the intention is to run the event in two separate locations throughout the County on the same day in early October. The contract will be split into 2 sections for two separate locations but will be appointed to the one contractor who presents the most economically advantageous tender overall in accordance with the RFT. Interested tenderers will be required to tender for both locations. Anyone who fails to tender for both will be discounted. The idea of the scheme is that members of the public can bring along their old mattresses to a designated facility for free disposal at this one-off event.
