Award for the provision of an INDEPENDENT PROFESSIONAL ADVOCACY (IPA) SUPPORT SERVICE for individuals across the County Borough of Bridgend. Lot 1: Advocacy Hub Advocacy Hub: central contact point with provision of information, signposting and referral function; Lot 2: Specialist Statutory IPA service (LD/ASD) Specialist Statutory IPA service (LD/ASD): for learning disabilities and clients with Autistic Spectrum Conditions Lot 3: Specialist Statutory IPA service (Communication/Support Needs) Specialist Statutory IPA service (Communication/Support Needs): based on specialist communication or support needs including dementia, mental health, sensory impairment, physical disabilities or life-limiting conditions Lot 4: Accessible Statutory IPA service Accessible Statutory IPA service: to ensure that as many people as possible are able to access an IPA as needed including care home residents, unpaid carers (including parent-carers) and any other eligible clients identified Lot 5: Specialist Non-statutory Advocacy service (LD/ASD) Specialist Non-statutory Advocacy service (LD/ASD): for people with learning disabilities or with an Autistic Spectrum Condition who require non-statutory advocacy, and who are facilitated to offer peer support, develop skills for independence, as well as to engage and mentor wider stakeholders on issues affecting them.
