General Medical Services for Kilcreggan Medical Practice

Applications are invited from registered General Medical Practitioners with remote and rural experience to deliver high quality primary medical services responsive to the needs of the 2,439 registered patients. The practice is based at Kilcreggan. Primary Medical Services will be provided under a General Medical Services Contract (GMS) for the patients of Kilcreggan Medical Practice. Out of hours service provision is covered at Vale of Leven Hospital, Alexandria through NHS 24. Kilcreggan is a village on the Rosneath peninsula in Argyll and Bute in the West of Scotland. Kilcreggan offers beautiful views of the Clyde, a lovely community and is easily accessible from Inverclyde by the passenger ferry. Kilcreggan has its own pharmacy, cafe, small shop and a great pub which serves fantastic food, a supermarket is available in nearby Rosneath. The area also has the well rated Knockderry Hotel. Garelochhead at the top of the Peninsula has a petrol station and cafe. Helensburgh (15 miles away) has two supermarkets and a wide range of independent shops/cafes/restaurants and a cinema.
