Tender description
ESB proposes to establish a Qualification System under a negotiated procedure for works contractors for the design and build delivery of HV substations of various specifications and scopes over an unlimited period under the following four categories: • Category 01 – 110 kV and above Greenfield Substations • Category 02 – 38 kV/MV Greenfield Substations • Category 03 – 110 kV and above Live Substations • Category 04 – 38 kV/MV Live Substations It is proposed that the scope for each of the four categories under this Qualification System and/or any subsequent Framework or Contracts may include but is not limited to the design and construction works as stated in Section A – 'Information Memorandum' - Part 4 -'The Qualification System Scope'. Lot 1: ESB proposes to establish a qualification system under a negotiated procedure for works contractors for the design and build delivery of HV substations of various specifications and scopes over an unlimited period under the following four categories: • Category 01 – 110 kV and above greenfield substations; • Category 02 – 38 kV/MV greenfield substations; • Category 03 – 110 kV and above live substations; • Category 04 – 38 kV/MV live substations. It is proposed that the scope for each of the four categories under this qualification system and/or any subsequent framework or contracts may include but is not limited to the design and construction works as stated in Section A – 'Information Memorandum' - Part 4 -'The Qualification System Scope'. While applications may be made to join the qualification System at any time, those interested in being considered for the initial frameworks (The ‘First Procurement’) under the qualification system (design and build electrical substations frameworks) must submit completed QSQ responses appropriate to the frameworks categories for which they wish to apply on or before the closing date as stated on www.etenders.gov.ie (RFT ID: 194087).
