Content of Size and Health of the Space Industry report 1.3.1 Previous editions of Size and Health of the Space Industry have reported on: • Core information associated with the survey (i.e., income, employment, GVA, exports, and contribution to the wider economy).  • Collecting time series data on key metrics allowing us to monitor patterns and trends. • Detailed information at the sub-sectoral level (e.g., manufacturing, operations, applications, ancillary services). • Regional analysis and barriers and contributors to growth. • Industry expectations and challenges. • A summary of key finding of further regional analysis of the UK space industry including mapping identified space organisations into Economic Development Bodies (EDB) to enable EDB level reporting of employment and income. (This is presented in an accompanying regional report). • As you can see from previous publications and surveys, we have collected broader information about the sector that continues to be of interest for this research, including: • 'Ripple' or second order spending effects. • Proportion of space sector dependent on public funding, where we know companies have been in receipt of this. • More detail on ESA and EU funding. • Untangling what is UK income and what is non-UK income for multinationals when conducting desk research on UK space income. • Barriers to growth. • Opportunities for growth.
