The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS) is a global centre of excellence for leadership, developing the future leaders of the British Army and over 90 other nations to take on the responsibility of leading their soldiers. RMAS has moulded generals, heads of state and captains of industry and has the unique opportunity to leverage this experience to offer non-military leadership training to targeted third party countries and individuals to support the UK’s Defence Engagement agenda. RMAS would therefore like to explore and test the market to assess whether there is supplier appetite and capability to potentially form a commercial partnership with RMAS to deliver non-military leadership training under a potential ‘Sandhurst Leadership School’ brand. This will be a commercial income generating venture and in addition to a targeted offer, we anticipate this partnership will offer broader specialist leadership training at commercial rates. The purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to inform the market that RMAS intends to hold a market interest day to provide an overview of its proposals and most up to date thinking on how SLS could potentially be delivered in partnership with an external supplier.
