Provision for Repair Services for Wagon Rail Stock

Tender description

DRS Wagons have a recurring requirement for Overhauls and General Repairs for Wagon Rail Stock. This procurement is to contract with a supplier(s) that have the capability and the capacity to meet the Repair demand for the Wagon Rail Stock. The contract is divided into two lots: Lot 1 is exclusively for FNA-D Wagons that require the Overhaul A Service. Lot 2 is exclusively for KUA and KXA-C Wagons that require the General Repair Service. Lot 1: Lot 1 Wagon Type FNA-D Lot 1 is exclusively for FNA-D Wagons that require the Overhaul A Service. The demand is for an anticipated 30 x FNA-D Wagons with a future potential for an additional 10 x FNA-D Wagons (equaling a total of 40). Additional information: The tenderer can bid for either lot 1 or lot 2 or bid for both lots 1 & 2. However, each lot will be assessed within its own rights and each lot will be awarded to the Most Economically Advantageous tender for that specific lot. Lot 2: Lot 2 Wagon Type: KUA & KXA-C Lot 2 is exclusively for 2 x KUA and 6 x KXA-C Wagons that require the General Repair Service. Additional information: The tenderer can bid for either lot 1 or lot 2 or bid for both lots 1 & 2. However, each lot will be assessed within its own rights and each lot will be awarded to the Most Economically Advantageous tender for that specific lot.
