(PIN) Support with workforce planning in Obstetrics and Gynaecology

Health Education England (HEE - the Commissioner) are putting out this notice as a PIN (Prior Information Notice) with a view to completing a Direct Award. Please note that this is not a Tender opportunity, and that the contracting authority intends to direct award the contract to the following provider the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (RCOG). This is to support continued specialist clinical expertise to support workforce planning in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with a specific focus on Maternity. And contribute to the delivery of the Safe Staffing in Maternity workforce tool, analysing already existing census responses, defining clinical outcomes for inclusion, supporting the development of the tool and engaging key stakeholders. Heath Education England (HEE) believe that the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (RCOG) is the only suppliers with the requisite expertise and experience to provide HEE with this specialist expertise and knowledge. The financial envelope for the contract is £70,000 If any provider has concerns with the commissioning intentions outlined within the published documentation, please raise this via the e-Tendering Portal in the first instance within 10 days of the date of this Prior Information Notice.
