Resurfacing of N20 Blackpool Bypass, Cork City

Tender description

The contract comprises approximately 46,500 m2 of road resurfacing which includes; (i) 40,000 m2 of planing to a depth of 50mm and laying 50mm of polymer modified stone mastic asphalt; and (ii) 6,500 m2 of planing of existing surfaces to a depth of 100mm and laying of 40mm of polymer modified stone mastic asphalt over a 60mm layer of dense bituminous macadam binder course. The Contract also includes minor improvement of road drainage, minor footpath reconstruction, re-setting of utility covers, replacement of all road markings and other ancillary civil works.
