MASTERPLANNING DESIGN TEAM AT Tendring and Colchester Borders Garden Community (TCBGC)

Tender description

A large-scale new settlement in Essex, formally allocated in the Colchester BC and Tendring DC Local Plans for up to 9,000 new homes. This is one of the largest development opportunities within the Clarion Housing Group portfolio, delivering new homes and development land to the third-party housebuilding market from 2025 and over the following 20 years. Latimer/Clarion is seeking to procure the services of a masterplanning design team to help deliver this project. Current scope is to secure outline planning consent Lot 1: Masterplanning and Design Code Author Masterplanner, Design Code Author and Lead Consultant for the masterplan of a new garden community located on the Tendring & Colchester borders, comprising of up to 9000 homes, employment space, university campus expansion, a new country park and associated infrastructure. Services up to and including submission of an outline planning application, through to receipt of planning consent. Lot 2: Landscape Architecture (Masterplan) Landscape consultancy services in support of the masterplan of a new garden community located on the Tendring & Colchester borders, comprising of up to 9000 homes, employment space, university campus expansion, a new country park and associated infrastructure. Services up to and including submission of an outline planning application, through to receipt of planning consent. Lot 3: Sustainability Consultant (Masterplan) Sustainability consultancy services in support of the masterplan of a new garden community located on the Tendring & Colchester borders, comprising of up to 9000 homes, employment space, university campus expansion, a new country park and associated infrastructure. Services up to and including submission of an outline planning application, through to receipt of planning consent. Lot 4: Consultation & Engagement Consultant (Masterplan) Public Consultation & Engagement consultancy services in support of the masterplan of a new garden community located on the Tendring & Colchester borders, comprising of up to 9000 homes, employment space, university campus expansion, a new country park and associated infrastructure. Services up to and including submission of an outline planning application, through to receipt of planning consent.
