LED Theatre Upgrade

Tender description

The aim of this initiative is to change the existing fixtures (Tungsten/Halogen) in the Dance Limerick Performance Theatre Space to LED, this will also include upgrading / incorporating new dimming/cat 5 controlling for said fixtures, cabling and all necessary hardware. All installation and commissioning must be included in the tender. Bidders must achieve a minimum grading of 80% for each qualitative criterion under Technical Assessment to avoid expulsion from the competition. Regarding the cost criterion, tenderers will be assessed in inverse proportion to the maximum score, which will be allocated to the lowest cost tender, which has not already been dismissed on qualitative grounds. The tenderer with the highest overall assessment will be determined as the successful tenderer who has not previously been dismissed on qualitative grounds. While every effort will be made to progress this tender process to the award criteria stage, the contracting authority reserves the right not to award a contract if conditions prevail. If, for some reason, the contract cannot be awarded to the most economically advantageous tenderer resulting from this competitive process, or if the contract is awarded and the contracting authority finds that the obligations have not been met, the contracting authority will retain the right to award the contract to the next highest bidder on the basis of the announced terms. This will happen without prejudice to the right of the contracting authority to cancel this competitive process and/or start a new contract award process, at their sole discretion.
