Torbay Council has entered into a contract with a qualified and experienced Provider to deliver a series of English classes to those living in Torbay where English is not their first language The overall aim of this training is to: • Allow people living in Torbay for whom English is not their first language to access free English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) in the community • Prepare and support people to work towards gaining a formal ESOL qualification • Provide a mix of formal and informal sessions to build confidence in using English • Support people towards being part of the community in Torbay.
