Tender description

The School of Ocean Sciences, Bangor University, wishes to purchase a laboratory-based laser particle size analyzer to quantify particle size distribution of sediment collected from the sea bed. The instrument should be capable of analyzing sediments in at least the range 0.02 – 2000 micrometre, include a wet dispersion module, and contain an integrated ultrasonic probe to separate aggregated material. The system should include a PC with data collection and analysis software. This is a purchase of the instrument, warranty and servicing for up to 3 years.
