WGC 2022- Broadcast Catering Services Provider

Tender description

The International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) awarded the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships to the UK for 2022 following a successful bid between Liverpool City Council, UK Sport and British Gymnastics. Liverpool City Council are the Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the Championships, working in partnership with a host of stakeholders. Between 29 October and 6 November 2022, Liverpool will host the Championships at the M&S Bank Arena situated on the city's famous waterfront. The LOC is undertaking a procurement exercise to identify and appoint an experienced TV/Broadcast Catering Services provider to deliver catering solutions for the national and international broadcast production team at the event. This will be a single company to plan, source, manage and deliver catering requirements for the Broadcast team during the whole period. Using the supplier's industry knowledge, as part of the tender, WGC2022 welcomes feedback and recommendations around further innovative catering operations and solutions which they feel will work well for the Championships, with a particular interest in sustainability.
