Tender description

STFC require the purchase of a 5 axis simultaneous, conversational CNC milling machine. This is to increase the simultaneous 5 axis CNC machine tool capacity within the ISIS mechanical workshop to enable us to meet the demand of the current and forthcoming projects. This upgrade is to ensure that the CNC machine tools to run smoothly and efficiently with as little disruption as possible. Lot 1: This is for a Large area, high accuracy, 5 axis simultaneous, conversational CNC milling machine which is compatible with existing machinery within the ISIS department at STFC. This upgrade is to ensure that the CNC machine tools to run smoothly and efficiently with as little disruption as possible.
