Service Concession Contract for the Provision of Management and Promotion of Carfax Tower

Tender description

<p>Oxford City Council (the ‘City Council’) is seeking to award a Service Concession Contract for the Management and Promotion of Carfax Tower on behalf of the Council as detailed in the Contract Terms and Conditions and the Specification. The principal aim of the tender process is to appoint to the Council a single Concessionaire to operate and manage Carfax Tower, and also promote it as a prime visitor attraction for the Council and as part of a cultural quarter. The Council will be seeking an annual income from this Agreement. The number of visitors to the Tower in the last two years has been affected by the COVID_19 pandemic, however in previous years the Tower has attracted over 44,000 visitors a year. It will be up to the successful Concessionaire to use their skills to maintain and exceed these numbers.
