SENDACT Improvement Officer

Tender description

Quotations are invited by the Council of the Borough of Kirklees (the “Council”) from Suppliers with relevant experience and ability to demonstrate sufficient capacity for a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Assessment and Commissioning Team (SENDACT) Improvement Officer. The Provider will work alongside the Head of Educational Safeguarding & Inclusion and Head of Education Relationships and Business, the wider Children’s Service team and other teams and partners (both internal and external) to support the service on an ambitious programme of whole system Inclusion Improvement and reform to ensure the service has a sustainable structure to meet all its statutory duties relating to children and young people with SEND. This contract is anticipated to commence on 19th September 2022 and will expire on 18th September 2023 with the provision to extend for 1 further 12 month period up to September 2024. The maximum budget for this contract is £60,000 for 12 months.
