Planning Appeal Decisions and Associated Services

Tender description

We intend to use the restricted procurement procedure to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS), for a maximum of ten years, to supply planning appeal decisions and associated services over three lots. The lots include: 1. s78 Planning Appeal (General), 2. Householder and Commercial Appeals Service and 3. Tree Preservation Order Appeals. To join the DPS your application must meet the selection criteria, which vary according to your current status. For example, if you currently supply these services to the Planning Inspectorate or an equivalent organisation then you are eligible to use the faster less complex selection process. Otherwise, you must have at least five years relevant experience, with evidence to support and write an example planning appeal decision(s). If your decision meets the selection criteria, we will invite you to an interview, the results of which must also meet the selection criteria. Prices are fixed by the Inspectorate. Lot 1: s78 Planning Appeals (General) Lot 1 - Typically small scale developments with appeals being decided through written representation, not including s78 casework relating to kiosks. Lot 2: Householder and Commercial Appeals Service Lot 2 Typically less complex than s78 appeals and includes extensions, conversions and adverts. Lot 3: Tree Protection Order Appeals Lot 3 Typically decided through written representation under the fast-track process
