Northern Rail AfA Bid Submission

Tender description

Production of an Option Selection Report (OSR) for the provision of full Access for All facilities at 3 stations in the Tees Valley - North Road, South Bank and Redcar Central. Led by Northern Rail. An OSR is a vital input into the bidding process for schemes to be submitted by Northern Rail to the DfT. This work will form part of a submission by Northern for funding for the delivery of these schemes. The stations have been selected on the basis of: a) South Bank and North Road stations are identified as the two remaining stations in Tees Valley which have no form of step free access and therefore are the highest priority, and b) Redcar Central is a scheme identified in the CRSTS programme and securing of this additional AfA funding will enable the identified CRSTS funding to be reallocated to delivery other station enhancements / accessibility improvements.
