Tender description

The City of Edinburgh Council intends to establish a Framework Agreement for a Vehicle Recovery and Repair Service. This Framework Agreement will involve the breakdown recovery and roadside repair of a variety of vehicles including but not limited to Small Cars and Vans, Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs), Buses, Minibuses and Plant. It is anticipated that the majority of the call outs will be for buses and HGVs, however the fleet is varied and special consideration must be given to the minibus fleet which carries vulnerable adults and children. Service provision will be required throughout the City of Edinburgh and neighbouring local authority areas depending on vehicle routes. This is an ad hoc service and demand for service provision will vary. Lot 1: Cars and Light Commercial Vehicles up to 3.5T The City of Edinburgh Council intends to establish a Framework Agreement for Vehicle Recovery and Repair. This Framework Agreement will involve the breakdown recovery and roadside repair of a variety of vehicles including but not limited to Cars and Vans, Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs), Buses, Minibuses and Plant. Lot 2: Light Goods Vehicles up to 7.5T The City of Edinburgh Council intends to establish a Framework Agreement for Vehicle Recovery and Repair. This Framework Agreement will involve the breakdown recovery and roadside repair of a variety of vehicles including but not limited to Cars and Vans, Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs), Buses, Minibuses and Plant. Lot 3: Heavy Goods and Passenger Vehicles exceeding 7.5T (including buses) The City of Edinburgh Council intends to establish a Framework Agreement for Vehicle Recovery and Repair. This Framework Agreement will involve the breakdown recovery and roadside repair of a variety of vehicles including but not limited to Cars and Vans, Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs), Buses, Minibuses and Plant. Lot 4: Plant including containers and trams The City of Edinburgh Council intends to establish a Framework Agreement for Vehicle Recovery and Repair. This Framework Agreement will involve the breakdown recovery and roadside repair of a variety of vehicles including but not limited to Cars and Vans, Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs), Buses, Minibuses and Plant.
