SOWEC are seeking a Project Coordinator responsible for managing, coordinating and leading the Strategic Investment Assessment (SIA) recommendations and actions to produce the deliverables with support from the subgroups within SOWEC. SOWEC are seeking a Project Coordinator responsible for managing, coordinating and leading the SIA recommendations and actions to produce the deliverables with support from the subgroups within SOWEC. This scope is suited to a strong Project Coordinator with 5+ years of experience in offshore wind and who possesses excellent communication skills. A keen understanding of the offshore wind sector and in particular the supply chain, and its participants is important. The scope will involve extensive collaboration with Government, public sector, offshore wind farm developers, supply chain and ports stakeholders, sometimes with conflicting priorities. Coordination of the activities, leading engagement with stakeholders and driving the delivery of the SIA recommendations is paramount. The Project Coordinator will have a good understanding of the issues, be a self-starter and be able to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders. They will need to have an appreciation of the urgency surrounding these issues and possess the appropriate manner to lead the various stakeholders who are critical to the delivery of the SIA. It is anticipated that the Project Coordinator will be dedicated solely to this contract and appointed in July 2022 for an initial period of nine months commencing August 2022 with options to extend as detailed.
