387 - Independent Consultant for Wigan's Equality Strategy

Tender description

<p>In partnership with Wigan Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Steering Group, we (Wigan Council) want to commission the development of a new Wigan Borough Equality Strategy. The process of developing this strategy and the strategy itself will allow us to:</p> <p> • know our communities better.</p> <p>• to understand their strengths and celebrate our differences.</p> <p>• to understand where inequality exists, how it is experienced and how we can work together to address it.</p> <p>• to agree a set of boroughwide priorities we can work on together, as communities, Council and partners.</p> Keywords: Strategy, Community, Equality
