UK Seafood Fund- Skills and Training Pillar

Defra is looking to award grants through the UK Seafood Fund: Skills and Training Scheme. The Skills and Training Scheme is part of the £100 million UK Seafood Fund. The Skills and Training Scheme will invest in improving the range and quality of training available to the UK seafood sector. It will do this by funding projects that enhance existing courses/qualifications, or that develop new courses/qualifications where there are gaps and an evidenced industry need. The Scheme will support projects for the training of workers in seagoing and onshore industries, including catching, processing and aquaculture. This round one of the Skills and Training Pillar will be separated in to two lots – one covering training course development and one covering equipment. Applicants may apply for one or both lots.
