Tender description

"The IRM is the equivalent of the ombudsman for fostering. We have no choice but to use this supplier and is set by the Secretary of State under section 21 of the Independent Review of Determinations regulations 2009. The IRM isn’t something we commission, and it isn’t the case of having other suppliers. Basically, if a foster carer is deregistered by us, they have the option to appeal via the IRM. It’s a government panel that is ran by the Coram Legal centre on behalf of the DfE. We don’t have any choice in attending if people (carers) request to be heard there. I have spoken with Keith Sailes regarding this contract and he requested I raise a smart form. "
