Day Opportunities for Older People and Adults with Physical Disabilities

Kirklees Council are currently preparing to reprocure their Provision of Day Opportunities for Older People and Adults with Physical Disability. The Authority is looking to procure engage with a Provider who has relevant experience and ability to demonstrate sufficient capacity for the Provision of Day Opportunities for Older People and Adults with Physical Disability. It is anticipated that the Contract will commence on the 1st April 2023 and will expire on 31st March 2026, with an option to extend for two (2) further twelve (12) month periods, up to 31st March 2028. Lot 1: North Kirklees The council wishes to purchase day services which are accessible to older people and adults with a physical disability from across Kirklees. The aim of the service is to reduce isolation and loneliness, promote healthy and active lifestyles, maximise independence and wellbeing among older people and adults with physical disabilities. The service is also to provide respite for their carers.
