Tender description
The NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, hosted by Velindre NHS Trust are acting on behalf of Cardiff and Vale University Local Health Board who are seeking to establish a contract for the provision of Temperature Monitoring System and Support. Lot 1: The current TMS on UHW and UHL Pharmacy sites which was installed in early 2000 is now obsolete and the manufacturer, 3D Digital Design have closed down their business operations. Consequently, there is no longer a maintenance service for the system in the event of break down or replacement parts. The pharmacy directorate uses the TMS for continuous temperature monitoring of all refrigerators, freezers and critical ambient areas to assure the appropriate storage conditions for medicines are in accordance with regulatory requirements.
