Request for Information (RFI) Provision of a Stock Management System

Tender description

The purpose of this RFI is to establish what inventory management systems are currently on the market that can support West Mercia. a) To gain a formal understanding of the capabilities of such systems that are currently in operation within the UK b) Identify those providers, we may wish to engage with to drive improvements and innovation through a Tender to Request for quotation. 3.2 OBJECTIVES The objective of this RFI is; a) To help us refine the requirements. b) To possibly replace the existing service provided by a third party. c) To enable the management of stock, in house, by automating the process of both receipt and delivery, picking and despatch in a controlled and accountable environment. d) To accommodate stock taking on a regular basis. e) To understand whether the system can interface the finance system if required.
