<p>The Borough Council of Bolton is seeking quotations for a Trauma Informed School Framework within a Bolton Secondary School. The vision is to develop Trauma Informed schools where understanding the impact of ACE’s and trauma is central to the values and operating framework of the school. This would include staff being skilled and confident in identifying the signs and symptoms of trauma and being able to respond through trauma informed policies, procedures, and practices. In Bolton we aim to introduce a change management approach for organisations including schools, which provides a framework and structure for and the relevant change management tools to build capacity and embed the various principles in order to become an ACE and Trauma Informed Organisation. It is acknowledged that culture change will be gradual and will need progressive implementation over time. Part of this methodology will be that the learning from this project will be shared with other local schools. We are looking to work with a provider who has a proven track record in establishing a Trauma Informed School Framework this successful approach should be evidenced through evaluation reports and/or testimonials from previous clients.</p> Keywords: Trauma, Secondary School, Adverse Childhood Experiences , Mental Health , Support, Public Health
