Tender description

Actif Sport and Leisure are the Local Authority’s Sport & Leisure Section, responsible for the development and delivery of sport and physical activity across Carmarthenshire. This includes leisure centres, schools, sports clubs, exercise referral, workforce development (paid and voluntary), etc. Our mission is to improve wellbeing through inspiring our population to be active for life.The primary aim of the project is to stimulate and inspire enhanced levels of physical activity and mental health across one of Carmarthenshire’s most deprived areas – “greater” Llanelli, from Llangennech in the east, to Pwll in the west. The project aims to harness the power of digital technology to create an innovative, bilingual, community-wide, game-based challenge to get children, families, and adults outside and active. Secondary aims include promoting active travel, encouraging access to services, and supporting the local economy by drawing people into town centres and points of interest.
